Monday 3rd October
7.30pm   Opening Service of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria at Scots’ Church, cnr. Russell and Collins Sts., Melbourne, including induction of the new Moderator, Rev. Robert White.
FOLLOWED by Moderators’ Reception and Supper in the Assembly Hall.

Tuesday 4th October to Thursday 6th October
Sittings of the Assembly of the PCV in the Assembly Hall, 156 Collins Street, Melbourne.
Thursday 6th October
10.45am   PWMU Annual Service followed by Fellowship lunch.
1.30pm   PWMU AGM in the Robert White Hall, 1st Floor, 156 Collins St, Melbourne.
7.30pm   Korean Students Bible Study in the Bamboo Hall.

Friday 7th October
10.00am   “Six Steps to Loving Your Church” (Session 6) in Room 1.

Sunday 9th October
10.30am   English Language Service in Church. Preacher: Rev. Michael Lee.
10.30am   Japanese Language Service in the Bamboo Hall. Preacher: Rev. H. Kashiwagura.
5.00pm   “Sunday at 5” in the Church. Preacher: Paul Jang (Nehemiah 6).

PCV Assembly

The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria will be held this week commencing with a Service of Worship and Induction of the new Moderator, Rev. Robert White, on Monday at 7.30pm at Scots’ Church, cnr. Russell and Collins Streets, Melbourne. Rev. White will preach from 1 Peter 2: 4—10 on the topic of “Who Do You Thlnk You Are?” The Assembly runs through until Thursday evening. The PWMU Annual Service and Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday (details in the calendar). Please pray for Rev. Robert White and his wife, Sue, as they take up this important role in the life of our Church. Please pray also for the members of Assembly (including our representatives from CPC, Grant Lawry and Kevin Childs) that the Lord will prepare their hearts and minds for the Assembly week and guide them into his good and perfect will for our Church in Victoria.
