Korean Ministry

CPC is home to many Korean families and student members. A Korean-language worship service is held once a month and there are many Korean Bible studies on during the week. For Sunday morning services, an English transcript and/or Korean written-translation of the sermon is provided.

To learn more about Korean ministry at Canterbury, contact Dong Jin Choi.

Japanese Church

The Japanese congregation at CPC is known popularly as the Melbourne Japanese Christian Church (MJCC).

The MJCC Sunday service is at 10:30 am in the Bamboo Hall (building at the rear of the main church facility – see photo below). Japanese children join together with the English Service kids for a common Sunday School Program.

The first Sunday of the month is our full-church ‘Combined Service’ of both the English and Japanese congregations. On these occasions, Japanese written-translations of the sermon are provided and all Bible readings are projected on screen in three languages.

To learn more about Japanese ministry at Canterbury, contact Tadashi Hanazono.
